Why do you need a dryer vent box with a snap on trim ring?

The snap on trim ring does the following:

1. Eliminates the need to caulk around the dryer vent box like other boxes.
2. Eliminates any drywall repair like other dryer vent boxes.
3. Matches the washer box in your laundry room.
   Saves on time and labor costs.
4. For contractors who don’t want mess with a trim ring we developed the DBX1017FR, it has flanges. The DBX900 also does not have a trim ring.
