Description:
24 Gauge Powder Coated Metal Recessed Dryer Vent Box. The inexpensive DBX1017FR metal dryer vent box is powder-coated white to match the washer box. It is 10” WIDE BY 17″ TALL and designed to fit into a 2 x 6 framed wall. The DBX1017FR has an optional trim ring. Designed and tested to meet 1or 2 hour equal F&T fire rating requirement for through penetration fire rated system. *Please see installation instructions on how to meet the 1 & 2 Hour requirement
The DBX1017FR dryer vent wall box also has the Length identification label inside it to meet the 2015 IMC building code requirement. IMC 504.8.5.

- The DBX1000’s are packaged 10 dryer vent boxes per carton.
- The dryer vent trim rings are packaged in a separate carton, 10 trim rings per carton
Dimensions:
- The DBX1000-6 dryer vent box is 16 ½ tall (w/ flange) and 16 ½ wide (w/ Flange) & 5 ½ deep.
- Without flange the box is 14 ½ tall and 14 ½ wide.
- Without flange the box is 14 ½ tall and 14 ½ wide.
- The trim ring fits the 6’’ size dryer vent box. The trim ring is 17 1/8 tall x 17 1/8 wide.

CONSTRUCTION SOLUTIONS PROVIDES THE LABEL INSIDE THE DRYER VENT BOX AT NO COST TO MEET THE BUILDING CODE REQUIREMENT.
